This is the starting point for a service — its name, tax, and how it’s shown and organised. After you create it, you set its lengths and prices, content, and booking rules.

Add a service

Open Services

Go to Settings → Catalogue → Services, then add a new service.

Fill in the general details

Complete the fields below.

Save

Save the service. You can then set its lengths, prices, and other details on the tabs across the top.
A new service must be saved once before you can add its variants and other details.

Name and type

Categories

Group the service so customers can find it. Tick one or more categories. If you choose more than one, pick a primary category — the main one, used in the customer’s navigation.
If you change the tax rate after adding variants, check the prices on every variant afterwards.
