# Organisation

> Your business as a whole — its name, branding, and regional settings.

Your organisation is your business as a whole. Everything else in OnTime Bookings — your locations, staff, services, and bookings — belongs to it.

Your organisation settings hold the things that apply across your whole business:

* Your public name, contact details, and address.
* Your brand: logos and colours customers see when they book with you.
* Regional settings: your timezone, currency, and how dates and times are shown.

<Note>
  In the admin portal, these settings live under **Settings → Business Setup → Basic Setup**, on a page titled **Business Profile**.
</Note>

Set up each part of your organisation here:

## Organisation or location?

Your organisation is the top level — your business as a whole. A location is one place you work from, such as a branch, a studio, or the areas you travel to.

Settings like your business name and branding belong to the **organisation** and apply everywhere. Settings like opening hours and an address belong to each **location**. Most businesses set up their organisation first, then add one or more locations under it.
